Thanks to the XIX Social Investment Fund of Venezuela sin Límites, we will implement together with the A.C. Deporte para el Desarrollo, this new project that seeks to overcome school backwardness.
It was very exciting to compete and win funding from the XIX Social Investment Fund for our Aula 360 pilot project which, over six months, will seek to strengthen the basic reading and writing skills of about 100 3rd grade primary school students, in 4 Caucagüita schools.

We will implement Aula 360 with our partner, the Asociación Civil Deporte para el Desarrollo, and together we will promote collaborative work between the educational psychologist and classroom, physical education and library teachers, combining didactic and digital strategies to accelerate the learning of children and raise the quality of education in the community.
The Social Investment Fund (FIS) is an initiative of the Venezuela sin Límites Foundation with financing from Conexión Social Digitel, which aims to strengthen the country’s non-governmental organizations that are part of its network with economic and technical resources.

In this XIX edition of the FIS, in addition to financing, participants receive training in:
• Think Wrong: how to create disruptive and innovative projects
• Project management and sustainability
• Digital Acceleration: boost your social impact and
• Social Marketing: narratives that inspire change
Why address school lag?
In June 2024, we carried out a reading evaluation on 241 students who completed the 2nd grade in 7 schools in Caucagüita: 37% do not read or write and 17% are barely started in reading and writing, which means that 54% did not reach the minimum competencies of the 2nd grade and the 3rd grade has begun in a situation of school backwardness.
And school lag at this level has a profound impact on learning poverty, affecting the academic performance of the child and then the adolescent, increasing the probability of dropping out of school, generating greater inequality and perpetuating family cycles of poverty.
At Fundación Impronta, through our strategic line of Education, we are committed to designing, executing and evaluating programs such as Aula 360, which raise the educational quality in the parish schools and positively impact the children and young people of the community.
