253 campers received 100% scholarships to participate in our 2023 summercamp, which included training in robotics, a STEAM experience, and trips to the Parque del Este.
After two weeks of training with other of our Caucagüita kids, José Antonio, Ángel and Yoannely won the 2023 Regional Robotics Olympics in the Innovative Futures category, inaugurating our science, technology and nature vacation season with their victory, which followed a Bootcamp in programming and computational thinking, two weeks of STEAM experience and a couple of days in Parque del Este.
In total, there were 253 children and adolescents from Caucagüita who enjoyed these learning and educational recreation opportunities during the school holiday, in this 7th edition of the Impronta summer camp, which was possible thanks to our volunteers, allies and sponsors such as Total Texto, Dividendo Voluntario para la Comunidad, Fundación Telefónica -through its Profuturo program- Engidea and several private donors.
Impronta’s summer camp is an annual program that promotes well-being, the right to recreation and the productive use of free time; It also provides a space to strengthen skills such as self-confidence, collaborative work, effective communication, assertiveness and leadership.
